SA Fans Raid Al Ahly Twitter Account After Mosimane Reveal

South African football fans on Twitter have become known for raiding social media accounts of teams Mzansi’s top talents play for. Following coach Pitso Mosimane’s switch to Egypt, Al Ahly’s Twitter account experienced the humour and wit of SA’s footy supporters. Check it out! After he left the club he gained hero status at, Mosimane joining Al Ahly has been one of the biggest stories in local football in recent years. Somewhat a cult hero in Egypt as well, he will now get the chance to test himself abroad, with local footy fans eager to see how he progresses. That being said, players such as Percy Tau and, more recently, George Lebese have felt the love and support from Mzansi fans via their respective clubs’ social media pages, especially on Twitter. The same can now be said of Mosimane as supporters in SA camped in the comments section of Al Ahly’s reveal of the mentor as their new head coach on Twitter.
