Roman Kemp apologises to dad Martin Kemp for his dodgy haircuts over the years

Capital FM radio host Roman Kemp has apologised to his dad Martin Kemp for his hairstyles over the years. The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! star, 27, decided to show some contrition for his style choices in honour of his dad for Father's Day. Taking to social media, Roman shared a pair of images that displayed him with some longer, choppier, and more flamboyant hairstyles. In both images, the radio DJ is stood posing beside his Spandau Ballet star dad. Roman captioned the images: “I’m so sorry I made you stand next to me looking like this over the years and you still smiled… “Happy Fathers Day to my best mate @martinjkemp #bestdadever PS: I’d like to speak to the manager.” Naturally, the amusing post brought a reaction from both Roman's celebrity pals and his fans at home, alike. Little Mix star Perrie Edwards commented on the post: “Omg how pretty.” Roman's Capital Breakfast colleague Sian Welby replied to the post: “So nice to see your dad hanging out with Kelly Osbourne. What a throwback!” One of Roman's fans noted in the comments section: “Wow! That’s KAREN PRO 1000 trim.” A different follower wrote: “Second pic, did u want to speak to any managers at all during that time?” “What was that hair style? what were you thinking hhahaah,” questioned another Roman admirer. Another joked: “The second picture is quite clearly Shirley in Eastenders and I'm pretty sure they weren't in it at the same time? Odd.” Finally, one of Roman's fans concluded: “Haha we all hate photos when we look back, can't get over your hair there tho in 2nd pic.” Martin himself, however, simply commented with a love heart emoji. The love is very real between the Kemp lads! However, they are definitely keen to share their mischievous sense of humour with each other over WhatsApp and FaceTime. “Yeah, we’re constantly sending each other funny things,” said Roman in a Father's Day interview. “Like pictures of willies!” laughed Martin. “We have the same sense of humour.” “Not my own willy!” Roman hastily added. If you are a fan of the pair, be sure to catch them on Celebrity Gogglebox on Fridays on Channel 4 at 9pm. Do you have a story to sell?
